We have a really fun fundraiser coming up. It is an art party to fight sex trafficking and exploitation. A facilitator will be leading people in an impressionist style painting of our land for our new campus and giving tips about symbolism in art and how you can use art for worship.
We are so grateful for the land and everything God has been doing to start the build. This event will be a great time to celebrate what God is doing and the future of freedom for more ladies in Memphis. This would be a lot of fun for small groups of ladies or families to come together and to create and have fun together. It also would be a great early mother's Day present and activity to do together!
We will have snacks and will provide all of the supplies. Just come with an adventurous spirit, no art talent needed!
It is going to be a fun time and is for a really good cause.

The sad reality is seniors are vulnerable to attacks of violent crime and in honor of January being National Slavery and Human Trafficking Prevention Month, A Way Out Ministries is offering two self-defense classes, with this one being specially designed for seniors.
This class is designed to give you confidence. You will learn steps you can take to avoid becoming a target and also discover simple techniques for defending yourself if you do end up in a dangerous situation.

A Way Out Ministries cordially invites you to attend our Annual Freedom Voyage Gala. This year we will be celebrating 30 years serving those who are sexually exploited in the Mid-South.
A Way Out Ministries has a two-year Christ-centered trauma-informed residential program for women escaping sex trafficking. In addition, we conduct outreach to venues known in the Mid-South for sex trafficking and with two staff attorneys, we also advocate for policy changes to fight pornography and human trafficking.
If you haven't heard, we received over 75 acres from the Tennessee Baptist Children's Homes and are:
Building a self-sustainable campus to serve additional women,
Launching social enterprise businesses where survivors will work in a trauma-informed work environment and save money,
Building a Christ-centered trauma-informed equine program,
Building a home where pastor's will live on site,
Building a prayer chapel, and
In the future building residential programs for sex trafficked women with children and sex trafficked minors.
Join us for an evening on the Mississippi to learn more about all God is doing to enlarge our territory and help us raise the needed funds to continue serving our most marginalized women.
The evening will be filled with live music, great food, 3D photo booth, silent auction, and a guided riverboat tour from the Memphis Riverboats. We will also have graduates of our program who will share their testimony of going from unimaginable trauma to victory.
